This collection features daffodils, magnolias, a peony, an anemone, and sweet star balloons. The versatile products can be mixed and matched to create many inspiring projects!
Thanks so much for joining me this month. You may have just seen Nathalie DeSousa‘s fantastic blog as she was the creator that was ahead of me on this blog hop. Altenew has a range of subscription options if you enjoy having a surprise arriving each month.
My favorite monthly series would have to be Altenew’s Craft Your Life Project Kit!
This month it is Magnolia & Blooms. And I love it 🥰

You get a large stamp set with heaps of lovely sentiments, coordinating die and also a stencil set as well as the embossing folder to help you create beautiful cards.

I decided that I would make a trifolding card using heat resistant acetate and partial die cutting. The inks that I chose were Bamboo, Olive, Frosty Pink, Coral Berry, Mango Smoothie, Peach Perfect and Pistachio. I also used Waffled Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder to give some texture to the second flap.

I found it difficult to photograph this card to show it off (I am so sorry) but I wanted to present a different type of card to demonstrate how you can try different techniques with this kit.

My next card used the embossing folder and stencils. You can get such beautiful soft results with the coordinating stencils and blending brushes. I used Altenew’s Small Ink Blending Brushes and Detailed Blending Brushes along with the Doily Frame Stencil.
